Perfect Pt Chevalier Project
Recently returned to New Zealand from the UK, architects Vincent and Katherine were seeking an opportunity to use their exceptional design skills and knowledge of passive materials to create their Auckland family home.
They had identified an original brick and tile home in central Point Chevalier, originally built in the 1940s for state housing, with scope for an extension and modernising on 420sqm of freehold land. The home was tired and dated but featured beautiful original floors and lovely character features.
Alex at Martelli Buyers stepped in to help Katherine and Vincent to complete due diligence and negotiate a favourable price for them, securing the home ahead of the summer so that they can start on their renovations immediately. It was a pleasure to work with our clients, and Linda and Jo at Ray White Pt Chevalier, on this deal.
