"My passion is in understanding people's needs in a home, their aspirations, and helping them to secure the right home sooner. For most, a home signifies much more than just bricks and mortar. It embodies comfort, stability, a space for memories and a reflection of personal style. For many, owning a home will also be a testament to years of hard work and a significant step towards building wealth."

Born and raised in Auckland, I graduated from Auckland University with a Bachelor of Commerce and spent the next 11 years abroad, specializing in real estate consultancy, buyers advocacy and residential development in London, Sydney and Hong Kong, and managing marketing and sales teams in the United Kingdom, Hong Kong and mainland China.

Returning to Auckland to consult on residential developments, I became acutely aware of the disparities within real estate transactions. Drawing from my own experience as a buyer's agent overseas, I was struck by the lack of dedicated buyer's agents here in New Zealand.

I have met countless individuals who felt disheartened by the buying process, have missed out on homes they loved having invested time and money, or felt that the information being given to them was biased or dishonest. There is an assumption that DIY is in our DNA and as such we must be experts in finding and negotiating on homes; I beg to differ.

"Whether I'm bidding at auction for a buyer or guiding someone through their entire home search, I genuinely enjoy using my property experience and market insights to support our clients. My goal is to make the journey to finding their ideal home as smooth as possible, ensuring they feel confident that they’re making a great choice."

In my former life as a listing agent I regularly felt conflicted in that I could never do enough for our buyers. By law I had a fiduciary responsibility to my vendor, and I was constantly encouraging buyers to complete their own due diligence, but I knew many buyers didn't know where to start with this. The truth is that very thorough due diligence on a home is a full-time role, and many buyers struggle to know which consultants they should bring in, how to know the right value or negotiate, and how much they should invest in due diligence. Too often I heard buyers say "has someone else got a building inspection yet? My dad will look at it" or "the bank should be fine with it"

I see incredible value in having independent representation for the buyer. Someone who can project manage the due diligence process, really investigate homes, know what the agent is and isn’t telling us, and bring in the best consultants if required. I know our buyers are empowered with knowledge, and as a result they have assurance knowing they bought the best possible home for the right price.
